Nancy, Please

Who's the crazy one?
It starts out with a bit of light-hearted energy, as though veering towards a psycho comedy. But, it's an insightful dissection of a borderline personality, an awakening to who is angry and who is obsessed. It's funny, in a funny-sad sort of way. We can see a bright man with no real plan, just excuses and paranoia to corral the lead character in a downward spiral. This is not a comedy. This is not a horror. And, it's not really a thriller- it's a psychological autopsy. The lead is good but the real star turn is Nancy. She's got balls, big and furious balls.

Pathetic!
I chose my title carefully. This movie is absolutely PATHETIC!

It is simultaneously an exercise in frustration & irritation. To be fair, the acting was good (thus two stars instead of one). There was nothing else "good" about this movie. To put it bluntly, this movie has absolutely no pay off. You suffer through it, waiting for the protagonist to "grow a pair" and it never happens. In fact, in the final scene he is figuratively castrated. The protagonist is pushed to the brink by an obnoxious, man-faced, scrawny, evil, b-itch, and - yet- you watch the movie and watch the movie, sure that he will graduate from passive aggressive wussy to assertive butt-kicking man. The scrawny evil woman does everything to irritate the viewer, and you can't wait until she finally gets her just deserts. Why? Nope. Never happens. In fact, although he confronts her over and over, he sadly gets his...

Nancy Please Make A Better Movie!
Well we've watched about 40 minutes of the most boring movie imaginable! I've watched the main characters jog, dance, sleep, and eat without more than 5 minutes of actual dialog. We decided to turn it off before were completely asleep. I'm not sure what the other viewers watched to rate this movie 4 stars, but Amazon really needs to move this one to the free movies. The only thing worse than watching an awful movie, is knowing you paid $3.99 to see it.
